You must fly to Tom Jobim International Airport (RIOGaleão). If you leave from another airport in Brazil, it is also possible to arrive at Santos Dumont Airport. So, leaving from both airports you can take a Taxi or Uber directly to the NAB or your hotel in Niterói. Prices range from ~US8.00 – 12.00.
Another option is to take a regular bus line 760D (Auto Viação 1001) inside the airport. This line crosses Rio-Niterói with a stop in the city center, close to Shopping Plaza. The ticket costs (~ US 2,00), as it is an intercity line, and the trip takes about 40 min. with a very beautiful view of Rio de Janeiro. From the city center you can then take an Uber or even another bus with a stop at the Praia Vermelha Campus of UFF (where the NAB building is located), lines 47A and 47B (~ US 0,80).
